What does kakkoii mean?
Kakkoii is usually translated as “cool”, but it can also mean stylish, impressive or good-looking. It is the kind of cool that has confidence and presence.
In Japanese it can describe a person, an outfit, a machine or simply something that makes you stop and look twice.

What it means at oshoppu
At oshoppu, Kakkoii is where we put the things with edge, energy and excellent details. Mecha, robots, model kits, die-cast vehicles, kaiju, action characters and what we affectionately call our muscle dudes.
It is not just “the boys’ bit”, and Kawaii is not just for girls. Cool belongs to whoever thinks it is cool.
Some things are cute and cool at the same time. We do not make them choose.
