KT Project KT-037 Dorok Soldier (1) [Nausicaa Valley of the Wind]

Kaiyodo adds the Dorok Soldier to their fully posable figure series inspired by "Nausicaa in the Valley of the Wind"! These soldiers hailed from the Union of Dorok, a powerful multi-ethnic nation with power rivalling that of the Tolmekian Kingdom in the original comic. They specialize in guerrilla warfare such as night raids, and Kushana respects them as excellent warriors in the series. With his ethnic mask-like helmet and miasma mask, you can sense his unique culture. This figure was produced by Takayuki Takeya by analysing Hayao Miyazaki's original comics and colour illustrations for a design that blends indigenous ethnic style with processing techniques inherited from advanced ancient civilisations. The colour scheme emphasises the ethnic feel by boldly arranging red and blue, while maintaining a colour tone that suppresses colour development. Even though he is a general soldier, he has a strong presence that conveys that each person is a living human being.

This figure is uniquely posable with a wide range of motion, such as the back-and-forth swing of the shoulders. A soft material is used around the waist for excellent mobility. Even though the armour design is largely imaginary, the human body wearing the armour is realistically expressed for an exquisite finish that does not lose its natural proportions when posed.
